About us
Cancer Capable Foundation is a Non profitable National level Social Organization in India, duly registered under societies Act 21, 1860. Society Regd. No. 1452/2015-16. This NGO has National network. Having regional centers at, New Delhi, Mumbai , Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Cancer is fetal disease. Human lives are destroying by the Cancer. Patients are not able to get treated due to mental agony and heavy cost of treatment. This is following the guide line of WHO and National Cancer Control Program Government of India.
Cancer Capable Foundation has started Nationwide Cancer awareness program which involves a variety of activities though out the country.
Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide. It accounts for 7.4 million deaths (around 13% of all deaths) in 2004. Cancer often creates fear which comes out of ignorance and misconception. More than 30% of cancer cases could be prevented by modifying lifestyle or avoiding key risk factors. About 1/3rd of cancer cases could be reduced if cases are treated and detected at an early stage.
Since 2015, Cancer Capable Foundation has conducted over hundreds of Cancer Awareness Programmes which have benefited more than thousands of participants. Cancer Capable Foundation has also participated in many health related exhibitions benefiting more than 50,00000 participants.
Our Mission
- To create awareness of the disease.
- To inform people about the importance of cancer check-ups at an early stage.
- To educate people about the key risk factors of cancer since more than 30% of cancer cases could be prevented by modifying lifestyle or avoiding the key risk factors.
- To enable people aware of Cancer through organizing lectures, campaigning, rallies, Nukkad, Nataks, seminars at various institutions, schools & public places.
